- Ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care and wellness programming in alignment with community standards and regulations.
- Provide outreach, education, and support to residents’ families, serving as a clinical resource and point of contact.
- Support the training, education, and ongoing development of care staff; ensure compliance with required in-service training (EOEA).
- Maintain knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care best practices, HIPAA, risk management, and patient safety.
- Uphold and exemplify the Mission and values of Jewish Geriatric Services in all aspects of care delivery.
- Participate in scheduled on-call coverage and complete additional projects as assigned by leadership.
- Active, Unencumbered Massachusetts RN or LPN license.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods.
- Capable of frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 20 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with residents, families, visitors, government personnel, the public, and colleagues.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English.
