- Lead and execute fundraising strategies, annual giving, and donor engagement initiatives
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Plan and oversee fundraising events, community outreach, and engagement activities
- Build relationships with local businesses and community leaders to expand support
- Manage donor communications, recognition, and retention efforts
- Oversee donor database integrity, gift tracking, and reporting
- Identify and support grant and sponsorship opportunities, including applications and reporting
- Track fundraising performance, goals, and budget outcomes
- Prepare reports on donor activity, campaign success, and event outcomes
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on campaigns, materials, and visibility efforts
- Supervise development staff, volunteers, and committees as assigned
- Represent the organization at events, meetings, and networking opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree required (Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred)
- 3–5+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit leadership
- Proven experience with donor cultivation, campaigns, and event coordination
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor stewardship, and charitable giving
- Experience with grant writing and sponsorship development preferred
- Proficiency in donor database systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends for events
