JGS Lifecare – Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking an experienced Temporary Full‑Time Cook to support our Skilled Nursing community during a defined temporary period. This role plays a key part in delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals in a healthcare setting.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Accommodate special diets and therapeutic meal plans common in skilled nursing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food prep areas
Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing teams to support resident care
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations

What You'll Need:

Minimum of 5 years of cooking experience (healthcare or institutional experience preferred)
ServSafe Certification required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
