What You'll Do:
- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, including annual, quarterly, and interim reviews
- Participate in resident care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Monitor resident weight changes and implement appropriate nutritional interventions
- Review and approve menus to ensure compliance with therapeutic diet requirements
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts DPH, OBRA, and Joint Commission standards
- Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff
- Serve as a clinical resource to the Food Service Department
- Participate in surveys, inspections, and required in‑service trainings
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian credentials with the American Dietetic Association
- Active Massachusetts Dietitian license and ongoing CEU maintenance
- 2 years of long‑term care experience
- 2 years of long‑term care experience
- Strong clinical nutrition background with knowledge of therapeutic diets
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with residents, families, and staff
